UPDATE: Today we come across the below image
and it looks like this could indeed be the sneaker. While it might seem
like a restock of the original Pirate Black colorway, it actually does
come with very subtle differences to the first release, including white
stitching on the upper and blue ankle piping. Stay tuned to more
information on the drop of this new YEEZY Boost 350.
UPDATE: We have sources confirming with us the February 19 release is not the same “Pirate Black” shoe
that released last year. It looks to be something new. To reiterate,
even though many publications rumored that adidas confirmed it was a
restock, we have trusted sources telling us this is indeed an new color.
The official colorway is referenced as “PIRBLK/BLUGRA/NOIESS.” Stay tuned for more as this is a breaking news update.
We already know that Kanye West’s YEEZY Season 3 will be premiering in New York alongside a first listen of the highly anticipated album WAVES – and that tickets are already available – but Yeezy fans are still awaiting details for the next footwear drop, which will follow up on the all-black 750 that dropped in December.
While many were assuming that a “Beluga” colorway
would be coming next, trusted sources close to us indicate that
February 19 will see the release of a “Pirate Black/Blue” variation of
the 350. As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we hear more but
for now you can hop on board the hype train heading straight to
Yeezyville.
